Price
24" Tall, antique German china so called "flat top" shoulderhead doll,
with deep modeling, three sew holes on each side. Circa 1850's era.
Unmarked, but with the attributions associated with C. F. Kling & Co. made
in the town of Ohrdruf, Thuringia, Germany. She has painted features, with
blue eyes, red accent lines above the eyes, and closed mouth. There is some
slight wear to her hair, and a couple of small mold imperfections on her
shoulderplate. She has her original cloth body, with pink silk lower legs
(wear to silk) and black leather boots sewn on to her legs. She has white
lower kid leather arms and hands, with individual fingers that have wear and
some repair to the leather. Unmarked, She is wearing antique white cotton
underclothes, including camisole, bloomers and slip. Her drss has been
replaced with a copy of her original pink and white calico dress, and nicely
made in the old style.

10" Antique German china doll, with
black molded hair in a modified flat top hairdo, white center part, blue
painted eyes, that look slightly to the side, and closed mouth. She is on
her original cloth body with china lower limbs, and lower legs, with black
high-top flat heeled boots, and painted laces. She has layers of antique
original underwear, and her original red print calico dress has red silk
ribbon bows at the shoulders. Circa 1860

20" Antique "Flat Top" hairdo China doll, attributed to
A. W. Fr. Kister Porcelain factory. She has painted pale blue eyes, painted,
molded black hair, with fifteen curls framing her face. She is on her
antique cloth body, with leather arms, and individual fingers. She has
antique underwear, and socks, and is wearing her original more recently
"family made" yellow calico off the shoulder dress, with braid trim. Circa
1870

22" Antique German china doll, with black
molded hair, with a "flat top" hairstyle, also known as "high brow china".
Unmarked, made by A. W. Fr. Kister. She has painted blue eyes, red accent
lines above the eyes, 3 sew holes, and is sewed to her original cloth body,
with leather arms, and well-molded china hands. She is wearing her original
red two piece lindsy-woolsy outfit, with black silk trim, and lined in light
brown chintz fabric. She has cotton socks, with pink banded trim, and wears
high button red leather shoes, with heels. There are a few holes in her
antique red wool outfit, and some wear rubs to her hair from age and love.
