4 1/4" Antique German china Frozen Charlotte, with black center parted molded hair, in a flat top hairstyle, long curls around her head, partially exposed ears, painted blue eyes, and closed, pursed mouth. She is standing with clenched fists held out in front of her. From a West Springfield, Mass estate, she comes with provenance: belonged to Rachel Geer, born Dec 26, 1881 in DeRuyter, New York. Doll was on a Christmas tree at a Church, and given to her on a honeymoon trip to Father's home, Grandma and Grandpa Burdick. There is a factory done mold imperfection on her upper right arm, and right fist. (not damaged) Circa 1890's | $165.00 |
