Price




15" Long, and 10 1/2" head circumference. Antique German bisque socket head baby doll, marked: 36 K (star) R 100 on the back of his head. Made for Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, he is one of the earliest character doll babies. He has blue painted eyes, closed mouth painted hair with slight molding and brush strokes, and the typical little bit of kiln f(firing) dirt (factory done) at the top of his hair. He is on the original bent limb composition baby body, with excellent finish (fingers are worn a bit from age). No repairs, no repaint, no cracks, and no chips. Dressed in his original outfit, including belly wrap, diapers, undershirt, booties, and little boys striped PJ top.
 
 

13 1/2" Tall, antique German bisque doll, marked BSW 500.  Made by Bruno Schmidt.  She is a German made Oriental feature doll, with brown glass sleep eyes, pierced ears, and fully jointed composition body. (lower left leg was repaired) She has a black mohair wig, done in an Oriental upsweep style, and her original silk (melting) Komono. Circa 1910
 
 

10" Antique German bisque head doll, by Gebruder Heubach 8192.  She has blue sleep eyes, open mouth with four teeth, and is on her teenage five piece composition body, with painted socks, and painted heeled one-strap shoes. She is wearing her original dark blonde wig, and factory made cotton outfit, with a large straw hat. Circa 1920
 
 

9" Antique German character baby doll, by Gebruder Heubach, mold number 6894. She has painted intaglio eyes, closed pouty mouth, and painted, molded hair. She is on a five piece bent limb baby body, and is wearing a long white cotton and lace Christening dress. Circa 1920
 
 

9 1/2" Bisque head doll marked: Armand Marseille Germany 390.  He has blue sleep eyes, painted lashes, and is on a fully jointed composition ball-jointed body. All original. He comes with a tag that reads: "Andy" from Edinburgh, Scotland, sent by Aunt Lena 1936. (doll dates earlier than when he was sent)  Circa 1915 $295.00
 
 

15" Antique German bisque shoulderhead J D Kestner doll, marked: 154 dep Made in Germany on the back of her head.  She has blue glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, an open mouth with four square cut teeth, and her original tongue.. She has her original plaster pate, and blonde mohair wig.  Her body is white leather, with bisque lower arms.  She is dressed in her original pink and black velvet outfit, with layers of antique underclothing. Circa 1890 $395.00
 
 

11 1/2" Antique German bisque character baby by Kley & Hahn, marked: K&H Germany 167 on the back of her head. She has blue glass sleep eyes (all eyelid wax is there), and an open mouth with two upper teeth, and inset wobble tongue. She has a blonde mohair wig, and is on her original bent limb composition baby body. She wears layers of antique baby clothing, including a long cotton and lace trim dress, fine wool slip, knit booties, sweater, and lacy baby cap.  Circa 1915 $495.00
 
 
9" Long, antique German bisque head baby doll, marked: Germany 221 1  5/o on the back of the neck. She has a closed dome head, painted blonde hair, closed pouty mouth, and blue sleep eyes. On a five piece composition baby body, and wearing her original dress, with matching blue and white knit outfit of bonnet, coat, and booties. Circa 1920
 
 
13" Long, and with a 9" head circumference, Bonnie Babe antique bisque head doll. Mold # 1402, she was made for Georgene Averill (Madame Hendren & Georgene Novelties, Inc.) and distributed by George Borgfrldt, & Co. Her bisque head was made by Alt, Beck, & Gottschalck, Germany. She has blue glass sleep eyes, molded, painted hair, and an open-closed mouth, with molded tongue, and two lower teeth. She has a cloth body, celluloid hands, and pink cloth legs.  She is all original, in her antique Christening baby dress. Circa 1926
 
 
7" Antique bisque head character Googly doll. Marked: R 46 A 2/0, on the back of her head. Made by Th. Recknagel, Thuringia, Germany. She has painted intaglio blue side-glancing eyes, molded, painted dark blonde hair with painted blue headband, and closed smiling mouth. She is on her original five piece chubby composition toddler body, with molded, painted socks and shoes. Wearing an antique pink dress, and antique underwear. Circa 1920
 
 
10" Antique painted bisque doll, marked: Armand Marseille Germany 390 A 9/0 M .  Made by Armand Marseille, in Thuringia, Germany.She has her original brown mohair wig, blue sleep eyes, with an open mouth, and four teeth. She is on her original composition jointed body, with strait wrists, and high jointed knees.  All original clothing, her hang tag says: 1937 Scotland "Fish Wife".  Circa 1937 $250.00
 
 
7" Antique German bisque head brown toddler character doll, marked: Hanna S PB H. Made by Schoenau and Hoffmeister. She has brown glass sleep eyes, original black mohair wig, and an open mouth with teeth. She is on her original five piece composition toddler body, and has the factory original clothing, dressed in a yellow cotton dress, grass skirt, and lei decoration.  Circa 1914
 
 
8 1/2" Antique German bisque head character baby doll, marked: AM Germany 351 / 4/0 on the back of her head. Made by Armand Marseille, she has blue glass sleep eyes, a closed dome with painted blonde hair, and an open mouth with two lower teeth. She is on her original cloth body, with composition hands, and voice box cryer (mute) dressed in her factory original nightgown, and snuggled inside her original flannel bunting!  Circa 1925 $275.00
 
 
6 1/2" Antique German bisque socket head boy, marked: 75 on the back of his neck. He has blue intaglio painted eyes, and not usually seen  molded red flocked hat, and molded blonde hair. He is on his original five piece composition child body, with painted white socks, and painted red shoes. His clothing is all factory original. Circa 1920 $395.00
 
 
11" Long, with a 8 1/4" head circumference. Antique German made bisque head black baby doll. Marked: AM Germany on the back of her head. made by Armand Marseille, she has brown glass sleep eyes, a closed mouth, and closed dome, with painted dark hair. She has her original cloth body, with voice box ( mute) and painted dark brown composition hands (some paint is gone on the tips of her fingers) She is wearing her original clothing, including socks, shoes, hat and dress. 27" Antique bisque head German doll, marked: S PB (in a star) H  914 11. made by Schoenau and Hoffmeister. She has blue glass sleep eyes, with painted upper and lower lashes, open mouth with teeth, and original full blonde mohair wig.  She is on a ball jointed composition and wood jointed body, and is wearng her original cotton and lace clothing, with antique hat, underwear, pink socks, and leatherette shoes. Aproximately 50 years ago the family had her body repainted (excellently done) and original eyes reset onto the rockers. Any odd coloring you see on her face is from the shadows and lighting when her photo was taken. Her bisque is smooth, creamy, and even-toned. Circa 1915
 
 
16" Antique bisque head character smiling baby doll, marked: K star R SIMON HALBIG 126 Germany 36 on the back of her head. Made by Simon & Halbig, for Kammer and Reinhardt. Also known as "My Darling Baby," she has blue sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, an open mouth with two upper teeth, and molded, wobble tongue. She has a five piece composition baby body, with inset voice box in the back of her torso ( non working). She has her original light brown mohair wig, and long white cotton and lace baby dress, and silk with lace antique baby bonnet, and knit sweater.  Circa 1910 $595.00
 
 
6 1/2" Antique German bisque socket head doll, marked: 250 2 1/0 Germany. Made by Heuback Koppelsdorf. She is on a five piece composition body, with original dark inset glass eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth, and original brown mohair wig, with loop earrings attached. Dressed in a foreign costume of Italy. Her hanging tag reads: >From the Mrs. Wm F. Mudge collection Wade St. Concord NH  6/ 21/ 78. Circa 1900 $150.00
 
 
10" Antique bisque head doll, marked: ITALY 1/3 on the back of her head. She has dark inset glass eyes, painted upper, and lower lashes, an open mouth with teeth, and a dimple in her chin. She is on a composition body, with celluloid arms. She wears her original brown mohair wig, with hoop earrings, and her original costume of Italy.  Circa 1920 $125.00
 
 
8" Pair of antique German painted bisque head dolls, marked: Germany 12/0 on the back of their heads. They have brown glass sleep eyes, open mouths with teeth, and are on their original five piece composition body. 12" German bisque doll, marked: B&P 343 dep. She was made by Bahr and Proschild, and has brown sleep eyes, open mouth with five teeth, and original jointed composition body. She is wearing her original factory clothing, and sparse wig. She still retains her original stringing, and needs to be restrung, though she will stand fine as she is now. A harder to find mold number, by Bahr and Proschild. Circa 1890 $675.00
 
 
20" German bisque head doll, marked: S&H 1079 Germany Dep 8. Made by Simon and Halbig, she has dark blue glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, open mouth with teeth, and a jointed composition and wood body (repaired hands). She has her original mohair wig, and antique clothing. Circa 1900

She has painted blue eyes, painted, molded hair, open/closed mouth, and original bent limb jointed composition baby body, stamped: Germany. For you to dress! Excellent condition. He is wearing an antique boys outfit. Marked: 30/13 7/0. Circa 1890 $395.00

She has blue sleep eyes, closed dome head, with painted hair, and closed mouth. She is on her original composition body, with one repaired finger on her right hand. Circa 1924 $250.00

hertw.jpg (79753 bytes) 15" German bisque shoulderhead character boy, by Hertwig & Co. Marked: Made in Germany. He has painted blue side glancing eyes, a closed mouth, and blonde molded hair. He is on a pink cloth body with composition lower arms, and hands. His clothing is antique, with a brown wool suit, shirt, and tie. His lower legs, and feet are cloth, no shoes. Circa 1915 $325.00

1nerr.jpg (117962 bytes) 22" Child doll, by JD Kestner, marked: E 168 9 on the back of her head, and is on a jointed wood, and composition body (little finger on the right hand is gone), stamped: Germany in red # 3369 inside a rectangle on her lower back. She has brown sleep eyes, painted upper an lower lashes, open mouth with four molded teeth, and her original tongue. She has her original plaster pate, sparse original red mohair wig, and original plaid cotton dress, and underwear. There are some slight facial rubs, most of the white you see in her photo here is from the camera flash reflecting on the bisque. Circa 1898 $695.00

14 1/2" German hatted bisque shoulderhead girl, with a molded butterfly bonnet. Made by Hertwig, and Co., unmarked. She is on her original cloth body, with bisque lower arms, and hands, and mounted onto her original wire frame, that could be used to cover dresser items, in the boudoir. The shoulderhead measures 3 1/4", and 7 1/2" to the bottom of her torso. The original pink silk covering is gone, someone started to cover her with antique pink ruffles...I am not a seamstress, so I didn't finish the job! The underneath pink hand quilted lining is in escellent condition, and there is a cotton batting over the wire cage. I will include some extra antique pink material that came with her, so the buyer can complete her clothing. Circa 1900 $395.00

7"  German tinted bisque shoulderhead,marked:131.Made by Kling, she has painted blonde molded hair, blue painted eyes, and a cloth body with bisque lower arms, and legs, with patterned white stockings, and black heeled boots. She is wearing her original foreign costume. Circa 1910 $250.00

She has brown sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, open mouth, pierced ears, and is wearing her original brown mohair wig. There is a wig pull under her wig, on the left side, near the crown opening. She is wearing antique clothing, socks, and shoes.

8" Pouty character head baby, by Gerbruder Heubach,marked:7603.He has painted intaglio blue eyes, molded, painted hair, and closed pouty mouth. Made in Germany, he has a bisque socket head, and is on a five piece composition bent limb baby body. He is wearing an antique jumpsuit, with stitching on the front. Circa 1912

AM #341 German character baby by Armand Marseille.9" head circumference, she has blue sleep eyes, closed mouth, cloth body, factory mounted onto a lace covered pillow, with celluloid hands. Her hands have breaks and cracks at the wrists, and a crack on the little finger of one hand. She is wearing her original factory chemise. Circa 1925.

12 ½" Cute character baby with bisque head, sleep eyes, and 5 piece bent limb baby body (the body finish looks washed). Marked "B P" (in crossed swords) "585 Germany". She has blue sleep eyes, open mouth, 2 upper teeth and the original tongue. The knit outfit and bonnet is old, and her mohair wig is not original, but is antique! German doll by Bahr & Proschild.
