3" Foot length, and 4 1/2" high, and measures 6" around the top of the sock. Antique lacy pink cotton doll socks, with pink silk ribbon around the top. (slight yellowing from age)   Circa 1900

Antique six piece comb and one piece necklace set. To use as an accessory in your French Fashion dolls wardrobe, or to lay on a bureau.  The largest comb is only 1 1/4" long, and smallest is a mere 5/8"long. Made of celluloid or Victorian turtle shell, everything is still sewed to the original (dusty) card!  The necklace is green paste, (or could be green garnets), mounted in a cross shape,  the pendant has a loop at top, for a chain. Circa 1870

8" All composition toddler child doll, with painted features, side glancing brown eyes and painted molded brown hair.  Marked: EFFANBEE on her back and EFFANBEE BABY TINYETTE on her back.  Minimal crazing, and replaced vintage clothing.  Circa 1935

10" Antique German bisque head doll, by Gebruder Heubach 8192.  She has blue sleep eyes, open mouth with four teeth, and is on her teenage five piece composition body, with painted socks, and painted heeled one-strap shoes. She is wearing her original dark blonde wig, and factory made cotton outfit, with a large straw hat. Circa 1920

11" All Composition Shirley Temple doll, with sleep eyes, open mouth with smile, and dimples!  Her dress is untagged, but appears to have been with her for a very long time. Her socks and shoes are original, and her hair is in the original set. A hard to find size!  Circa 1930's

7" Antique German all bisque Kewpie doll, designed by Rose O'Neill.  With painted side-glancing eyes, and jointed arms (right upper arm was broken and glued years ago).  Comes with the cutest straw hat too! Circa  1913

5 1/2" All bisque German Bathing Boy doll, with painted features, molded, painted bathing suit, and original paper label on his chest that reads: "Dolly". He has jointed arms, adorable side-glancing eyes, and shy smile.  Circa 1920

16 1/2" Parian doll, unmarked, but probably made by Alt, Beck, and Gottschalck.  She has molded blonde hair, painted blue eyes, and closed mouth, on her original antique cloth body, with sewn on leather boots, and blue and white cloth patterned stockings. (replaced leather arms) She is wearing a newer dress, lovingly made by her previous family.  Circa 1870

8 1/2" Antique German character pouty baby, by Armand Marseille, of Thuringia, Germany.  Marked: AM Germany 341/  (size) 4/o on the back of her head.  She has blue sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes,  closed mouth, and painted hair.  She is on her original composition five piece body, and is wearing her factory original chemise!  Circa 1924

11 1/2" Julia by Matell. This is a portrait doll of the TV star Diahann Carroll.  Popular in the 1960's TV show, where she played a nurse.  She is mint in the box, has twist n' turn waist, and is in her original nurses outfit. Her hair has not oxidized!  Mint in box, with plastic still in place. Circa 1968

11 1/2" Vintage jointed doll, with painted eyes, and auburn hair, called Dollikin, she has 14 movable joints!  Made by Uneeda Doll Co. Mint in her box, she has never been removed.  Circa 1969

9" Composition EFFANBEE PATSYETTE Doll, with painted brown eyes, dark blonde mohair wig, and original clothing, including metal Effanbee Durable Dolls heart bracelet. There is some slight crazing, and some paint gone from her lips.  Still in her original stringing, right from the family attic, (so she should be cleaned a little further) Circa 1930's

18" All composition Sonja Henie doll, by Madame Alexander. Marked Sonja Henie, and with an open smiling mouth, and dimples! Untagged skating outfit. She has brown sleep eyes, full upper lashes, and painted lower lashes, full human hair wig, and good coloring, (the white spots on her face are camera flash reflections) and minimal crazing. (Some lip paint is off) Circa 1939

13 1/2" Tall, antique German bisque doll, marked BSW 500.  Made by Bruno Schmidt.  She is a German made Oriental feature doll, with brown glass sleep eyes, pierced ears, and fully jointed composition body. (lower left leg was repaired) She has a black mohair wig, done in an Oriental upsweep style, and her original silk (melting) Komono. Circa 1910

17 1/2" All composition skater, marked R&B, made by Arranbee company. She has blue sleep eyes, full upper lashes, and painted lower lashes. She has a closed mouth, and full mohair wig. Her coloring is excellent, and she has only minimal crazing. (any white you see on her face is my camera flash reflection, and not on the doll)  Circa 1938

10" Antique German made china doll, with black molded hair in a modified flat top hairdo, white center part, blue painted eyes, that look slightly to the side, and closed mouth. She is on her original cloth body with china lower limbs, and lower legs, with black high-top flat heeled boots, and painted laces.  She has layers of antique original underwear, and her original red print calico dress has red silk ribbon bows at the shoulders. Circa 1860

4" Antique all bisque German Bye Lo Baby doll, made by JD Kestner, marked: 20-10 copr by GS Putnam on her back. She has painted blue eyes, molded painted hair, jointed arms and legs, and the original round paper label on her tummy. She is wearing her original factory outfit of: diaper, and long white organdy and lace Christening dress, with matching bonnet.  Circa 1925

14" Antique all cloth Babyland Rag doll, called a topsy turvy doll. She has a lithographed printed white childs face on one side, turn her over, and she shows a lithographed printed black childs face. All original clothing, in excellent condition.  Circa 1912

3" Antique china Frozen Charlotte doll, with center part hairdo, curls framing face, the "covered wagon" hairstyle.  She has painted blue eyes, with red lines above the eyes, and closed mouth. Dressed in her purple ribbon!   Circa 1850

9" Antique German character baby doll, by Gebruder Heubach, mold number 6894. She has painted intaglio eyes, closed pouty mouth, and painted, molded hair. She is on a five piece bent limb baby body, and is wearing a long white cotton and lace Christening dress. Circa 1920

15" Antique German bisque socket head doll, by JD Kestner.  marked: 169 on the back of her head. She has brown sleep eyes, closed mouth, original plaster pate and blonde mohair wig.  She is on an antique German ball jointed composition body, that is not made by Kestner (unmarked) with a broken 3rd finger of her left hand.  She has replaced antique clothing, with layers of white cotton and lace undies, and an antique striped cotton doll dress, with front pocket and lace trim.  She wears long cotton stockings, and antique white linen  tie shoes.  Circa 1890

9 1/2" Vintage vinyl Miss Kitty doll, by Cragstan. She was made in Hong Kong to imitate the "Skipper" (Barbie's sister) doll by Mattel. Mint in her original box, she has painted blue side glancing eyes, long auburn hair, with bangs, and plastic headband.  Dressed in her original yellow sleeveless shirtwaist, typical of the 1960s style.  Circa 1960's

16" Antique German parian doll, with molded blonde hair, and molded snood in back. Unmarked, made by Dornheim Koch & Fischer Porcelain Factory, Thuringia, Germany. She has painted blue eyes, closed mouth, and molded blouse, with tie. She is on her original cloth body, with parian lower arms and legs with painted flat sole black boots, and painted ties. She has antique underclothes, and a new blue cotton dress, lovingly made by her last family.  Circa 1865

8" Hard plastic vintage Sandra Sue, designed by Ida H. Wood, and made by Richwood Toys, Inc. Annapolis, Maryland.  She has blue sleep eyes, molded eyelashes, and closed mouth. She is strung, and has flat feet, with molded shoes. In her original long blue taffeta gown, and also comes with an extra dress.  Circa  1952

16" Vintage hard plastic Terri Lee doll, with painted brown eyes, original brunette wig, and dressed as a "Brownie", in her original tagged Terri Lee dress, and matching panties.  (Probably replaced socks and shoes, and no hat) Marked: TERRI LEE on the dolls back.  Circa 1952

11 1/2" Antique German bisque socket head doll, often referred to as a "Belton" with two stringing holes at the top of her head.  She is marked: GK (for Gebruder Kuhnlunz) 1327 on the back of her head.  She has inset brown eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, with pierced ears, and has a closed mouth. (there is a tiny brown firing speck from the kiln on her nose) She is on a jointed composition and wooden body with straight wrists (torso was repainted years ago).  She is wearing layers of antique clothing, with antique socks and shoes. She has a newer auburn mohair wig, with long curls. A beautiful face!  No cracks, and no chips on her bisque.  Circa 1890

8 1/4" Antique German bisque shoulderhead dollhouse lady, made by Simon and Halbig.  Marked: S&H 1160 on the back and (size) 5/o on the front.  She has inset brown glass eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth, and original fancy mohair wig. often referred to by collectors as "Little Woman" because of the hairstyle.  She has a cloth body, with original bisque lower arms and bisque lower legs with high heeled black boots and four painted straps, with molded bows on the toes.  She wears her original simple dress of a tan gauzy material with pink satin ribbon and layers of underclothing.  Circa 1890

24" Antique papier mache shoulderhead doll, unmarked, from Germany.  Probably made by Andreas Voit. She has inset black pupiless eyes, molded painted black short hairdo (some paint gone), and closed mouth.  She has her original cloth body, with long leather arms, and individual stitched fingers.  She is wearing her original calico cotton print dress, long bloomers, and red leather tie shoes.  She has the usual wear (she is over 150 years old) No repairs, no repaint.  Circa  1840

10" Antique painted bisque German doll, marked: K (star) R  SIMON & HALBIG 126 Germany. Made by Simon and Halbig, for Kammer and Reinhardt.  She has brown sleep eyes, with "real" upper eyelashes, and an open mouth with two upper teeth.. She is on her original five piece toddler body, and is dressed in her original Provincial costume, complete with original price tag!  Circa1920

17" Miss Peep all vinyl baby doll, made by the Cameo Doll Co. She is a Newborn baby doll, with hinged arms, and inset blue eyes. Complete in her blanket, and still has her plastic sleeve to keep her clean. Mint in her original box! (I took her out for the first time to photograph her).  Circa 1962

Malden, Mass.  She has a vinyl head and hands, with soft body, dark sleep eyes, and rooted hair.  She has the cutest "pixie" face!  Comes with her wrist tag, and poem about her antics, and is in her original box. Mint! Never played with, never on display (box cover is faded and worn from storage).  Circa 1964
