8" All composition toddler child doll, with painted
features, side glancing brown eyes and painted molded brown hair. Marked:
EFFANBEE on her back and EFFANBEE BABY TINYETTE on her
back. Minimal crazing, and replaced vintage clothing. Circa 1935
17 1/2" All composition skater, marked R&B,
made by Arranbee company. She has blue sleep eyes, full upper lashes, and
painted lower lashes. She has a closed mouth, and full mohair wig. Her
coloring is excellent, and she has only minimal crazing. (any white you see
on her face is my camera flash reflection, and not on the doll) Circa 1938
9" Composition EFFANBEE PATSYETTE Doll,
with painted brown eyes, dark blonde mohair wig, and original clothing,
including metal Effanbee Durable Dolls heart bracelet. There is some slight
crazing, and some paint gone from her lips. Still in her original stringing,
right from the family attic, (so she could usa a little more cleaning).
13" Early composition shoulderhead doll, with painted,
molded blonde hair, painted features, composition arms, cloth body and legs,
and in her factory original clothing. Unmarked. Circa 1910
9" Composition Effanbee Patsyette, with
original print romper. Marked on her back: EFFANBEE PATSYETTE DOLL. She is
part of the "Patsy" family, and has painted eyes, and molded, painted hair.
There is only very slight crazing to the composition. Circa 1930's
Older composition gofun face Japanese Warrior doll, with
inset glass eyes, and hair. All original, holding sword. His case measures
12" the figure is 8 1/2" tall. Circa 1930
23" Compositon and coth Baby Doll, marked: Baby
Hendren, on the back of her neck. She has blue tin sleep eyes, full
real upper lashes, painted lower lashes, open mouth with two upper and lower
teeth, and tongue. She has a composition head, arms, lower legs and cloth
body. She is wearing a long white baby dress, with bonnet, and knit sweater.
She has molded, painted hair, and an adorable face! Any white you see is my
camera flash reflection, and not on the doll. There is hardly any crazing to
the composition, but the 1st and 3rd fingers of her left hand tips are
shipped, and the 3rd and 4th finger tips of her right hand are gone.
13" Vintage unusual character faced composition and cloth
bodied Matador. All original clothing, including a 1940
doll show button! Hand written tag reads:1939 Dad C. Pines matedor, Spain.
17" Composition doll, with brown sleep
eyes, gray eyeshadow, full upper lashes, painted lower lashes, an open mouth
with four teeth, original brown human hair wig, and wearing her original
pink and white striped cotton dress. Doll and clothing are unmarked.
Beautiful composition! Circa 1930's
14" Composition Madame Alexander doll,
unmarked. She has brown sleep eyes (crackled), full upper lashes, painted
lower lashes, open mouth with teeth, original dark blonde human hair wig
done in braids. She is wearing her original underwear, socks, shoes, and
plaid dress (tag cut). Excellent composition! (She looks like McGuffy Anna).
14" German composition head character
doll, marked: K star R 926 Germany 3 on the back of her head. Made by
Kammer and Reinhardt, she has brown glass sleep eyes, real
upper lashes, an open mouth, with two upper teeth, and tongue. Her facial
coloring is vibrant, and in excellent condition. The white areas you see on
her face is from the camera flash reflection only, and not on the doll. She
has a cloth and kidoline body, is pin jointed at her hips, and fully jointed
composition arms. She has her original dark brown hair wig, clothing, socks,
and shoes. Circa 1930
11 1/2" Composition and cloth baby doll,
named "Butch" marked: ALEXANDER on the back of his head.
He has a composition head, soft full, red mohair wig, blue sleep eyes, full
lashes, cloth body, and composition hands, and lower legs. His outfit is all
original, and the cloth label on his outfit tag reads: Butch Madame
Alexander NY USA All Rights Reserved. His outfit has slight dust from age,
and has never been washed. His composition finish is original, and
excellent, I cannot see any crazing! Circa 1936
14" Composition shoulderhead, marked: Baby
Gloria Germany 4 on the back of her shoulderplate. She has blue glass sleep
eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, an open mouth with 2 teeth, and
original tongue, and molded, painted hair. She has a cloth body, and
composition arms. Wearing an antique dress, and knit booties. There is some
crazing, and a tiny bit of paint touch-up, (well done). Circa 1920's
8" Composition Dionne Quintuplet doll,
"Marie" with painted features, and molded, painted hair. Marked: ALEXANDER
on her head and body. In her original blue romper suit, with matching hat,
tagged: Dionne Quintuplet Dolls all rights pending Madame Alexander, NY.
There is light crazing, and rubs on her hair and nose. Circa 1930's
5" Tall (when sitting)
Skookum child, with composition face, and painted features. She is all
original, with headband and green feather. No tag. Circa 1930's
10" Composition head
Skookum Indian doll, with painted, molded features, and black mohair wig.
She is unusual, with the felt covered feet. All original clothing (missing
headband) Circa 1930's
10 1/2" Lady and
11"Gentleman Chinese couple. They have molded, painted character
faces, with painted features, and hair, a cloth body, composition lower
arms, and composition lower legs with painted shoes. All original
clothing. Circa 1930's
15" (total height,
with base, including hat) 12 1/2" Japanese warrior, with inset glass
eyes, molded, scowling face, elaborate original costume, and mounted onto
a wooden base. His hands are well molded, with outstretched fingers on the
left hand. The left hand index finger has broken/glued, and has a tip
gone. The right hand is cracked. His face is in excellent condition. Circa
11" Composition head
Chinese Man, painted features, painted hands with individual fingers.
(right hand cracked/repaired) painted, molded feet, with shoes. Elaborate
embroidered outfit with gold thread design of a dragon breathing fire. Que
is gone from his head. Circa 1900
standing figure, with painted features, and molded, painted hair. She has
jointed arms. There is a handwritten note on the bottom of her base:
"Blondie Elwell Oct. 22,1919."
8 1/2"German doll, with composition
head, painted features, and jointed cloth body. She has a long blonde
mohair wig, done in braids. All original clothing, tag reads: Original
Maya Doll Made in Germany. Circa 1920-30
16" Composition shoulderhead, and
hands, cloth body, painted features, and black mohair wig, marked: A
Reliable Doll Made in Canada. He is all original, dressed as a Siwosh
Indian, from Vancouver Canada.
8" Composition Toddles "Hansel",
by Vogue Doll Co. Marked Doll Co on his back. He has painted features,
dark blonde mohair wig (over molded hair) and wears his original clothing,
with "Hansel" stamped on the bottom of his shoe. There is
some fine, hairline crazing on his face and body, one shoe strap is broken
(the snap is still there, closed) and he is missing his hat. Circa 1940's
